Rules

Topbid is a public leaderboard. There are no ads, no API keys, and no revenue share. You pay to stand above everyone else. Rank is the bid — nothing else.

Category Leaderboards

  • Category Ranks: Every category (such as Instagram, SEO & AI Visibility, Developer Tools, etc.) maintains its own independent #1 rank position and bid pricing.
  • Handles & Websites: Enter your product URL or social handle (@username). Instagram and X profiles automatically fetch profile pictures, while websites display title metadata.

How ranking works

  • New listings start in whole US dollars, $5 minimum, $1 at a time. Bids already on the board keep their amount until they raise or get outranked.
  • Taking #1 costs at least $1 more than the current top bid. Paying less still puts you on the board at whatever rank that bid can take. Equal bids stay in the order placed — older bids keep the higher rank.
  • Cumulative Bidding Math: When you enter the same URL or @handle again to raise your listing, your new payment is automatically added to your existing bid balance (New Total Bid = Existing Bid + New Bid). Your rank position only increases and you never lose past investments!
  • App Store, Play Store, GitHub, and similar platform links are keyed by their path, so different apps don't share a bid. Tracking query strings are ignored.

What you can list

  • A product website, SaaS landing page, or an X @handle → goes to Web leaderboard.
  • Chat and invite links are not allowed — Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Messenger, Signal, and similar.
  • Links to adult or illegal content are strictly prohibited and will be removed immediately without refund.
  • Query parameters are stripped from listing links. Affiliate, referral, and tracking URLs are automatically normalized.
  • Link shorteners (bit.ly, t.co) are resolved to their target destination.

After you pay

  • Your listing is public. Clicks go to the URL or profile you submitted, without query parameters.
  • A completed payment is what claims the rank. Payments are not refundable.
  • Paying means you agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, including the requirement that listed projects show valid company details.
